These are the only jeans I wear so I can't compare them to others. The quality of denim is very good and the construction is strong. The pockets are solid. Never got any holes in them. What I like is they sit higher on the hip because low rider jeans don't work for me. I bought 3 pants roughly 10 years ago and they only recently start to show fray around the edges. I have a 29 inch inseam and the shortest they make for a size 40 is 30 inches, so I have to take them to the tailor for shortening. After washing these over the years, 2 of the pants faded in such a way as to leave a darker blue area on the front zipper, which makes it look like I had an accident in the bathroom. So I hope that doesn't happen with these newer ones.
