These fit me a little tight. Normally I wear a medium in Pearl Izumi shorts, with a 32" waist. This short fit me a little bit tighter than I like, and ride higher on my waist than I am accustomed to. They are well made, with nice tight stitching and good cut. The blue color is sharp, in my opinion. The included liner buttons in on each side near the back/side of the waist. The included liner is OK, but I will likely wear a pair of road cycling shorts under this MTB short when I ride the trails. The main reason for me wearing a MTB short is to provide a secure pocket (which this has one of) and to protect expensive, rather fragile road cycling shorts that DO have excellent chamois pads. I will have to see how this fabric fends off rocks, branches, thorns and falls....Love these shorts!! I am 6' tall, 210 pounds and purchased an XL. They are very true to size per their sizing chart, and the velcro waistband straps let you make them tighter if desired. There is a single zippered pocket on the right side, plenty of room for an iPhone and wallet when walking around town. Although they are a little long and hit me at the lower knee, they are super comfortable and I bought another pair in another color. I do wish they had a 2nd pocket on the left side for casual wear, they're so comfortable I wear them all the time. The inner liner\pad is removable, held on by a snap on each side. Easy in and out. I recommend these shorts.I have an older pair of Pearl Izumi Canyon Gray/black which I love. So of course I decided to order another pair (Olive this time). They arrived a day early much to my delight (of course I was anxious). Ok, so the first thing I noticed was that there were no inner tights like my older pair also they were about 2 inches longer. They do come with inner straps on either side of the pants, i guess to accommodate a specific type of inner tights. Come on guys you need to include the tights just like the older Canyons did, I am very disappointed about that. The 3 stars was for the early arrival.See comparison pics attached.P.S. my older pair was labeled as made in Morocco and the new pair says China. Should have been cheaper to include the padded tights.I'm an Avid cyclist and MTB'er. I have tons of Pearl Izumi product from Socks to jackets to shoes and sneakers..I have 3 pairs of Canyon Shorts.. Best MTB short you can buy. Bought these for my dad.. Pearl Izumi has THE BEST quality of any clothing manufacturer I have ever seen.. They think about every little detail and how it impacts the rider for comfort/ chafing, durability, breathability..things you could never imagine.. As a manufacturers rep in a different industry, I'm in awe of their thoughtful design. Even if they a a little bit more expensive PI is the best value you can find.. the product will outlast the competition..These are great in almost every respect. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because they have only 1 pocket. I wish it had either a matching zippered pocket on the left side or a cargo pocket, but it has neither. Other than that, these are great. The liner is very good and is removable. The shorts are lightweight and comfortable and did not interfere with moving around on the bike saddle.Product quality is nice&soft.. you need to use the removable liner, if you want to go for a ride.. if you try without the liner your bums wud start aching after cupl of kms/miles. I own a PI summit short&compared to this, fit of this canyon short falls short. It invariably goes up revealing your muscular thighs aftr some time in th saddle. These shorts have 2 velcro cinches that can tighten the fit a bit. They take me longer to put on then other bike shorts because I have to line up the legs of the liner with the pant legs of the shorts - but a few extra seconds is well worth it, I find these shorts super comfortable and I don't feel like I'm offending everyone's sensibilities wearing them in a grocery store. Really nice to have a zippered pocket as well. Love these so much I bought a second pair after my first week of use.Use it to ride to work, so I don't have to show my coworkers me in spandex. It's a great fit, doesn't catch wind or anything. The one pocket is perfectly acceptable for me. I can fit my phone and wallet in there, zip it up, and never think about them again. Pretty nice. The insert is fine. A little thinner than my other liners but I don't go all too far in these- just 12 miles a day.Los compré extremandamente baratos. El short es un poco amplio pero muy cómodo. La licra es lo mejor! mucho muy cómoda. El color es bonito. Uso mediano, los compré M y me quedaron perfectos.Buena calidad y la talla es conforme a lo esperado, fácil de lavar ya que se pueden separar el short y la licra
