I am 4'11" and about 112-115lbs. These shorts are not too tight and don't feel like "jeans" but they do look like jeans. They don't give me a muffin top and they also aren't to high waisted that I feel like a child wearing pullups. They feel comfortable and the material is actually soft. I will be buying another pair for sure.I recently ordered these shorts in a size medium like I would any other pair of shorts that I wear thinking I was a size medium but I was so wrong. They are super cute and comfortable but definitely not my size they're a little baggy in the butt area and not that flattering if you're the same size as me I would definitely order small.The fit was GREAT but the color is not white. It’s an off white with a yellow tint. The shorts on the left in the picture are my 3 YEAR OLD white shorts for reference. These shorts (pictured on the right) are clearly not white. I would order a different color just for the fit though.Fit was great and they were comfortable unfortunately the button popped off after 1 washGood quality, stylish, stretch and true to size.They have really yellow tint.With today's sizes all over the place in women's clothes, I might wear anything from a women's 4 to a Junior 7. Since the Small in these shorts covers 4-6, I thought there was a good chance they would fit, and I was right. They fit great! (I am 5'6" and 110 lbs.) They are shorter as shown in the listing photo, and the hem cuffs are sewn into the folded up position which is nice. These shorts have a lot of stretch, so gaining or losing a few pounds and these shorts should still fit fine. They are very comfortable and the denim is a softer denim fabric. They have a zipper front and button close at the waist. They have the standard 5 pockets as with jeans and 5 belt loops.For the most part the black gray shorts I received look very much like the listing photo with one exception. In the listing photos it looks like all the stitching was done with white thread, but not so on the shorts I received. All the stitching was black thread so these shorts are more typical of the jean look plus the distressed look. So the jeans don't look quite a "decorative" for lack of better words because of the thread color used for stitching. Seriously though, it's fine as far as I'm concerned because they still look fine, fit great, and appear to be constructed well. The fiber content is listed on the label as 72% Cotton, 23% Polyester, 3% Viscose, 2% Spandex.In case it may help with your purchasing decision I am including a few of the actual measurements of these Small shorts:Waist: 14.5" / 29"Front rise: 9.75"Inseam: 1.75" (they're pretty short!)Leg opening: 10.5" / 21"Thank you for reading my review, much appreciated!I initially ordered these shorts for myself. I wear 18s for jeans, so ordered the XL, which should be my size according to the description. They are super stretchy, so I can get them on and button them, but they feel very tiny on me and probably wouldn’t be appropriate to wear outside the house.My daughter wears a 10-12 for jeans, so I had her try them on. They actually fit her well, much better than they fit me! They look like they are sized appropriately for her, so at least she will be able to use them. The “ripped” parts are stylish without exposing things they shouldn’tOverall the shorts look nice so I think they would work well if you can get the right fit, but that will be challenging since they seem to run small.
