I'm a little disappointed with these shorts. I've got a 36' waist and got the large, and they fit snug like they should, but when I get in the pool or the ocean the water flushes through the shorts no matter how tight I pull the drawstring around my waist. A medium would be too tight. I've got neoprene shorts but I wanted something with zero buoyancy for snorkeling, diving, swimming underwater laps at the pool. They sorta keep you warm, but not enough. I think this fabric is just not stretchy enough.
